Kitkat test

Most of us have seen the AI ad of the IKEA box explode across our newsfeeds. AI fanatics preach that Google Veo can match studio work in 30 seconds with no budget, and that it's the future of video content. Sure.

I made this Kitkat ad using Flow+Veo over a couple days, not 30 seconds. And it still required an idea, storyboard, a lot of writing, a little iMovie magic and some free sound fx to string it all together. It’s still nowhere near a final product - and I don’t think we’re going anywhere.

What I did find is that it will be a game changer in how we sell our creative vision. It gives us the power to visualise what we wish people could see in our heads. I think all creatives should use AI to better communicate their ideas. But just that. Never the final product.

It’s a tool. Not a replacement.
