Background Friends is a pet project I started when the cost-of-living crisis hit. What began as a hobby turned into a studio full of 3D printers, my own brand, extra income, and a creative outlet for industrial design, 3D modelling, and digital interactive design that I don't get to do in my day-to-day role at Mars United.
I’ve dubbed my designs "Friends," starting first with lamps. Everything is made from environmentally friendly materials and designed to be anti-landfill. The brand uses an approachable tone, fun names, and interactive 3D splines to bring it all to life.
